The Wauconda Fire Department and the Lake County Forest Preserve’s Lake County Museum will offer Firefighter Awareness Day. The program will offer an opportunity to learn about the fire service.
Scheduled events include fire-rescue demonstrations, an appearance of the Flight for Life helicopter and historic and modern fire engines, crash-test dummies, canine arson detection and fire safety/puppet shows Admission is free. For information, call 847-526-7878.
