I have subscribed to the Tribune for 60 years and always agreed with its policies, but never was I so proud of the paper until July 10, when an obituary appeared headlined “James Costello, 82, school janitor.”

I knew Jim Costello as a nice, low-key gentleman–no Ph.D. after his name, no special awards, no unusual accomplishments. Just a janitor.

Wasn’t that great for him to be remembered? Thank you, Tribune.
