A vision of the human intermingled with the divine–as seen through two of the oldest religions–will come to the Art Institute.

“A Collecting Odyssey: Indian, Himalayan and Southeast Asian Art from the James and Marilynn Alsdorf Collection” presents some 200 works spanning nearly 20 centuries, primarily rare Buddhist and Hindu sculptures. Symposiums, lectures and workshops will be held during the exhibition. Information about the events can be obtained by calling 312-443-3680.
