Fred C. Pelz, 89, of Elk Grove Village died Wednesday in Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. Mr. Pelz had retired after 43 years with the Commonwealth Edison Co. engineering department in Maywood. Survivors include his wife, Helene; two sons, Kent and Gary; and four grandchildren.
