Congratulations to Phil Jackson for the financial recognition recently afforded him. His job is not as easy as one might imagine.
Most key games (playoffs) go down to the wire, and it’s the coach’s strategy and practice regimen that make execution possible. Those of us who have met Coach Jackson off the court realize he is a gentleman whose demeanor is relaxed, cordial and charming. His priorities are in the right place with emphasis on family (example: helicoptering from his son’s graduation to the final playoff game).
The Bulls organization should get much more credit for filling the coffers of the city and revitalizing the image of Chicago throughout the world. This winning attitude penetrates and gathers momentum to create a positive influence on Chicagoans’ lives.
