Bernie Lincicome says he will eat his column (Tribune, July 28) if the Bears start Rick Mirer instead of Erik Kramer in the season opener against Green Bay.
Judging by Mirer’s lackluster performance against the Steelers, it will be Bears owner Michael McCaskey paying a visit to a gastroenterologist and not Lincicome if Mirer gets the nod against the Packers.
