I hope that the Treasury Department doesn’t permit a likeness of Michael Jordan to appear on the back of a quarter (” `Tails’ we win if quarters get some new faces,” Page 1, Aug. 1). Certainly he is one of the greatest athletes to play his sport and the prime reason the Chicago Bulls have five NBA titles. But this doesn’t warrant putting his picture on our nation’s money! Let’s reserve that for more appropriate Illinois citizens–like Abraham Lincoln!
