Bernice O. Scheuer, 93, of Huntley, died Sunday in St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin. She was born in Chicago, and worked at J.C. Penney’s in Elgin. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Algonquin. She is survived by her daughter, Bernice Kublank; her sister; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wait-Ross-Allanson Funeral Home, 201 S. Main St., Algonquin. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. John’s Lutheran Church, 300 Jefferson St., Algonquin.
