Christopher S. Stenglein, 22, of Marengo, died Saturday at Memorial Medical Center in Woodstock. He was born in Waconia, Minn., and was a 1993 graduate of Marengo High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1993 to 1996 and was a student at Devry Institute of Technology in Chicago. He is survived by his mother, Barbara; his father, Joe; his sister, Valarie Miller; one nephew; two grandfathers; and one grandmother. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Highway, Marengo. Visitation will continue from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. service Thursday at Calvary Assembly of God Church, 5906 S. Illinois Highway 31, Crystal Lake.
