Marie C. Mars, 76, of Richmond, died Tuesday in Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry following a long illness. She and her late husband, Edward, owned and operated Mars Texaco Service in Richmond from 1956 until their retirement in 1977. She is survived by her son, Edward J.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. service Friday in Ehorn-Adams Funeral Home, 10011 Main St., Richmond.
