Harry and Mary Ann Sweeney of Chicago announce the engagement of their daughter, Meredith Lynn, to Daniel Vincent O’Connor, son of Patrick and Barbara O’Connor of Chicago.
The future bride has a master’s degree from Loyola University in Chicago. She is the north district coordinator for the Department of Planning for the City of Chicago.
Her father is the corporate credit manager for Skil-Bosch Power Tools in Chicago. Her mother is vice president of National Copper Paint Corp. in Chicago.
The future groom has a law degree from Loyola University. He is an attorney for Anesi, Ozmon and Rodin in Chicago.
His parents are retired.
An August wedding is planned.
