Arch S. Hatfield, 88, a longtime member of the Lisle Township Republican Organization, died Thursday in Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. A Downers Grove resident, Mr. Hatfield was parts manager for nearly 20 years at Oak Lawn Motors. For the past three years, he worked part time as a clerk in the Lisle Township assessor’s office. In recent years, Mr. Hatfield remained active in the community, doing volunteer campaign work for township elections. Survivors include a son, Warren; a daughter, Beverly Fiore; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Faith United Methodist Church, 5395 Westview Drive, Lisle.
