James F. McGhee, 49, a Chicago investment firm executive, died Thursday at his home in Palos Heights. Mr. McGhee moved frequently until he and his family settled in 1982 in Palos Heights, where he was born and raised. He was a vice president in private client services at Lehman Brothers in Chicago, where he directed investments of more than $200 million for high net-worth individuals. His clients ranged from physicians to rock stars. Survivors include his wife, Dwana; a son, Miles; a daughter, Elizabeth; his parents, Frank and Pat McGhee; three brothers; and two sisters. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Palos Park Presbyterian Church, 12312 S. 88th Ave., Palos Park.
