I have been an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs for 50 years, through all the bad times and the one or two good times. The team that I have stood by for years is a joke–shame on Tribune Co. for fielding a lot less than the best available.
Someday–and, I hope, soon–the herds that file into the Friendly Confines will realize that they are being led like cattle to the slaughter and demand a winner.
