Fred S. Boyer, 95, died Friday in the Axelson retirement home in Northbrook. Mr. Boyer, a longtime electrical contractor, founded Boyer Electric Co. in Chicago in 1925 and owned it until his retirement in 1983. Survivors include his sons, Wayne, Donald and Robert; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday in Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Rd., Mt. Prospect. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.
