The “Quotables” on Aug. 5 (Op-Ed) includes Jerry Reinsdorf, who said, “Anyone who thinks this White Sox team is going to catch Cleveland is crazy.”
Many thought Jerry was crazy to say this, but he was only confused. Instead of 3 1/2 games out of first place with 57 games to play, he thought they were 57 games out with 3 1/2 games to play.
