The Shakespeare Project of Chicago will present “King Henry VI, Part 1” on Saturday in the 385-seat auditorium of the Harold Washington Library Center, 400 S. State St.

The performance is free and begins at 1 p.m.

The company will stage Shakespeare’s Wars of the Roses cycle, one performance a month, beginning with this event and culminating in November with “King Richard III.” For more information, call 312-747-4050.
