Audrey Schnell, 92, of Mt. Prospect, died Friday in Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines. A homemaker, Mrs. Schnell was born in Lyra, Texas. She was the past president of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 1604, Chicago zone; and past member of Forest River Ladies Auxiliary and Forest River Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband, Francis W.; a son, Richard; two daughters, Charlotte K. Dempsey and Diane R. Pearson; a foster daughter, Mary Srachta; and 11 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday in Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines, with services at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
