Henry W. Schroeder, 83, of Arlington Heights, died Saturday in Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. Mr. Schroeder was born in Chicago and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He worked as a packaging engineer for AT&T for more than 20 years until he retired in 1980. He was a life member of the Lucent (AT&T) Pioneers. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn, and a daughter, Gayle Marcotte. Visitation will be at noon until the 1 p.m. service Tuesday in Gluekert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights.
