John Repeta, 43, of Harvard, died Friday in Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago. Mr. Repeta had worked for the past eight years for Panasonic in Chicago and Elgin, where he was a technical supervisor. Mr. Repeta had been fascinated by electronics since he was in high school, according to his brother, Marion. “He was always on top of the latest technology,” reading and researching about new developments in his field, his brother said. Other survivors include his wife, Cathy; his father, Marion; his stepmother, Patricia; another brother; and a sister. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday in Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 206 E. Front St., Harvard.
