Joseph T. Weiss, 86, of Winnetka, died Sunday. Mr. Weiss, a lifelong resident of the Chicago area and former president of the Machinery Dealers National Association, was president of Interstate Machinery Co., Chicago, and AEW Industries, Franklin Park. He was a founding board member of Congregation Shaare Tikvah, Chicago, and founding director and board member of Michigan Avenue National Bank. Survivors include his wife, Edith; two daughters, Elaine Adler and Caryl Born; five granchildren; and two sisters. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Piser Chapel, 9200 N. Skokie Blvd., Skokie.
