The Plan Commission has delayed action on a request to annex property that may be developed as a stone quarry.
The 120-acre tract that would be annexed is northeast of 127th Street and Naperville-Plainfield Road.
No residents were at last week’s meeting to speak for or against the proposal. The area is not highly populated.
Dennis Kowalczyk, acting community development director, said the land is currently zoned agricultural. The annexation and rezoning request was delayed because negotiations have not been completed, Kowalczyk said.
