The Village Board is expected to vote Tuesday night on a measure that would allow the developers of the Chalet Hills Golf Club and Chalet Hills subdivision to move the entrance to the golf course 500 feet east.

At a special board meeting last week, Leonard Pantaleo and Russell King, members of the Chalet Group asked Village Board members to consider allowing the club’s entrance on Rawson Bridge Road to be moved so a larger clubhouse can be built for golfers. It also would allow easier access to a new section of the Chalet Hills subdivision, a portion of which has not been developed.

Village Engineer John Smith told the Board that moving the road would allow greater site access.

The proposed entrance would be built across the down slope of a hill and would include a 30-foot median between the traffic lanes.
