Leon G. Atkinson, 74, a longtime resident of Aurora, died Saturday in the DuPage Convalescence Center in Wheaton. Mr. Atkinson was born in Wendell, N.C. Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Garrity and Chris Joseph; five grandchildren; a brother; and a sister. Services will begin at 10 a.m., in the Daleiden Lake St. Mortuary chapel, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora.
