Deane R. Lyons, 73, died Sunday in his Crystal Lake home. He was born in Dorchester, Mass. He is survived by his wife, Mary Joan; a daughter, Martha Parks; five stepsons, Gregory, Kevin, Charles, Kenneth and Brendan; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon Thursday in Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine. Mass will be said at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Holy Family Catholic Church, 2515 W. Palatine Rd., Inverness.
