Ruth E. Carter, 92, a former nurse and 50-year resident of St. Charles, died Sunday in the Pineview Care Center, St. Charles. Mrs. Carter was a nurse at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. After moving to St. Charles, she was employed by the Howell Co. for many years. Survivors include a son, Royal Dore Jr.; two sisters; and six grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Fox Valley Bible Church, 4 N 780 Randall Rd., St. Charles.
