Freda L. Alkire, 86, of Woodstock and formerly of Arlington Heights, died Tuesday in Centegra Memorial Medical Center in Woodstock. Born in Barry, Ill., Mrs. Alkire was a former teacher. She is survived by a daughter, Karen Kraft, and two grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Kinderhook Cemetery, Kinderhook, Ill.
