The city Plan Commission Thursday night granted conditional final approval to developer William F. Noonan of Prospect Heights to install a sanitary sewer and build a roadway for a four-house subdivision.
Noonan intends to subdivide a 2.29-acre lot at 1410 E. Olive St. into four lots.
The commission told Noonan to get permission to hook up the sanitary sewer to the Arlington Heights sanitary sewer system because the subdivision borders Arlington Heights.
Although the property has been reviewed by the city Sanitary Department and the Engineering Department, some members of the Plan Commission said they were concerned with the location of one of the houses because it may be too close to the street.
“The only thing we worry about is there is a possibility that a house could be built one foot away from the end of the street,” said Howard Killian, city engineer.
