Rev. Edwin Charles Abendroth, 94, who founded a church in Ohio, died Friday in his residence in Bensenville. Rev. Abendroth was born in Chicago and was a 1927 graduate of Concordia Lutheran Seminary in St. Louis. He was the founding pastor of Shore Haven Lutheran Church in Euclid, Ohio. Rev. Abendroth is survived by three daughters, Lois Schultz, Betty Funk and Dorcas McMillan; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be held in Ohio.
