Cynthia E. Talbot, 50, of Palos Heights, a 35-year employee of Ameritech and its predecessors, died on Sunday, after a lengthy illness at her home. At the age of 15, she started working as a telephone operator for Michigan Bell, now Ameritech. She worked as an engineer for the last 15 years. Survivors include three sons, Robert, Daniel and George; two daughters, Tammy and Alessandra; her mother, Julia Blair; two brothers; three sisters; and six grandchildren. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Moraine Valley Church, 6300 W. 127th St., Palos Heights.
