Eugene A. Rzonca, 70, a retired Chicago firefighter, died Saturday at his home in the Hegewisch neighborhood of Chicago. Born and raised in Hegewisch, he was a firefighter for more than 30 years. He served with Squad 5, Engine 60 and Engine 97. Survivors include his wife, Mary; two daughters, Mary O’Donnell and Patricia Radosavljevic; two sisters; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the Sadowski Funeral Home, 13300 S. Houston Ave., Chicago. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Columba Church, 13323 Green Bay Ave., Chicago.
