Fred H. Chisholm, 70, of Marengo, died Saturday in Memorial Medical Center, Woodstock. He was in the Army during World War II, and the Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal-Japan. He is survived by his friend, Ruth Schuring; two daughters, Catherine Stoner and Wilhelmina Knapek; and two sons, John and James. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Tuesday; with amemorial service at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Highway, Marengo.
