Dennis W. Rompala, 51, died Tuesday at his home in Carol Stream. Born in Chicago, Mr. Rompala was employed as a maintenance engineer for Carol Stream School District 93. Survivors include his wife, Mariann; two sons, Anthony and Jeffrey; a daughter, Denise Walker; his mother, Lottie; a brother; and a sister. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in Brust Funeral Home, 415 N. Gary Ave., Carol Stream. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home followed by mass at 10 a.m. in St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 401 Cochise St., Carol Stream.
