Frances Sheehan Wiley, 93, a Chicago native, died Aug. 16 in Hillside Manor Nursing Home in Missoula, Mont. Mrs. Wiley worked for 10 years at the Chicago Union Stock Yard Co., before joining Huffman & Hutcheson, a cattle-brokerage firm where she became secretary-treasurer before retiring in 1970. She was nicknamed “Boom Boom” for her habit of prompting smiles with that phrase when taking photographs. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Claire Sullivan and Helen W. Whalen; 14 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing. A funeral service will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday from the funeral home, followed by mass at 9 a.m. in St. Ann Church 3010 Ridge Rd., Lansing.
