The Chicago Air & Water Show, this Saturday and Sunday, begins at 9 a.m. on a nautical note, with experts performing such feats as barefoot waterskiing, kneeboarding and wakeboarding.

After the water show Saturday, at 11 a.m., the air show soars and will include the Thunderbirds, the U.S. Air Force’s aerial demonstration team, as well as military aircraft such as a C-130 Hercules and an F-117A Stealth fighter, as well as civilian pilots. Make sure not to miss the 50th anniversary celebration for the U. S. Air Force at 2:34 p.m.

On Sunday, a similar program takes off, without the anniversary salute. The Chicago Air & Water Show is held along North Avenue Beach. For more information, call 312-744-3315.
