Abraham Braude, 86, former chief executive officer of Page Jewelry stores, died Thursday in Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Mr. Braude, a native of the city’s North Side, joined his father in the jewelry business. The father and son team operated Emil Braude and Sons. Later, the company became a retail business called Page Jewelry, with stores in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota and Michigan. Mr. Braude retired in 1995. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; a son, Stuart; a daughter, Marilyn Glazer; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services were held Friday.
