Lawrence E. Gleeson, 77, a former president of Teamsters Local 731, died Wednesday in his home in Norridge. He was born and raised in the Norwood Park area in Chicago. Mr. Gleeson was a Master Sgt. in the Army Air Forces in World War II. He was also the past president of Neer Goudi American Legion Post 846. Survivors include his wife, Louise; a son, Lawrence II; two daughters, Margaret Connelly, and Antoinette Craft; a brother; and eight grandchildren. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, followed by a mass at 10 a.m. in St. Eugene Catholic Church, 7958 W. Foster Ave., Chicago.
