Muriel B. Paris, 77, a former Chicago school teacher, died Tuesday at her home in Northbrook. She was a former president of the Northfield Republican Women’s Club. Mrs. Paris was a 4th-grade teacher at Goudy Elementary School in Chicago, and later taught in Mr. Prospect and in Ottawa, Canada. Survivors include her husband, George; a son, Dr. Scott; two daughters, Martha Emeritz and Beth Gaecke; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Winnetka Covenant Church, 1200 Hibbard Rd., Wilmette.
