Paul Feinstein, 80, of Northbrook, a former shoe store owner, died Friday in Glenbrook Hospital. Mr. Feinstein was born in York, S.C., and grew up on the West Side of Chicago. Mr. Feinstein opened Nate’s Shoes at 342 E. 47th St., which he ran for 40 years before retiring in 1987. Mr. Feinstein won an award from the Chicago Public Schools in the late 1970s for providing jobs for high school students at his store. He is survived by two daughters, Mimi Dunitz and Joyce Gould; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother; and a sister. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Temple Jeremiah, 937 Happ Rd., Northfield.
