Barbara H. Vanderley, 59, of McHenry, died Saturday at Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry after a short illness. She was born in Woodstock, and lived in California and Florida before returning in 1991 to live in McHenry. She worked as a morning waitress for the Little Chef restaurant in McHenry. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Jonas; her daughter, Cheryl; her son, Joe; three stepdaughters, Gay Ann, Denise and Melanie; a stepson, Jonas Jr.; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters; and three brothers. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Peter M. Justen Colonial Funeral Home, 3807 W. Elm St., McHenry. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
