The Village Board got its first look at a request to rezone a proposed commercial site on the northwest corner of Irving Park Road and Madison Drive for a 5-acre town home development.
There was little criticism of the 38-unit Summerfields development. Trustee William Harper, however, said he wanted to eliminate a building to reduce the number of entrances onto Madison Drive. Harper said some units could be added to the remaining nine buildings to help make up the difference.
