Barbara Odessa Hoffman, 53, of Boulder Hill, died Tuesday in her home. Born in Lincoln, Neb., Mrs. Hoffman was employed at Dreyer Clinic Fox Valley East as a medical transcriber for 12 years. She was a member of and organist for Boulder Hill Neighborhood Church of the Brethren for 15 years. She also was a member of and organist for Naperville Church of the Brethren for 10 years. Survivors include a son, Stephen; a daughter, Deborah Mercier; a sister; and a nephew. Services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday in Boulder Hill Church of the Brethren, 155 Boulder Hill Pass, Montgomery, where visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the service hour.
