George “Buddy” Fallon, 77, the owner of R.W. McGrath Associates, died Wednesday in Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He was born on the North Side of Chicago and lived for the last 42 years in Oak Park. Mr. Fallon attended St. Bede Academy in Peru, Ill., receiving his bachelor’s degree in business administration. He was in the Army in World War II. He worked at his family-owned store, R.W. McGrath Associates, his whole life. The store sells glass showcases and other store fixtures. He is survived by a sister. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Thomas J. Ahern Funeral Home, 6621 W. North Ave., Oak Park. Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Edmund Catholic Church, 188 S. Oak Park Ave., Oak Park.
