Harold Lee Jones, 53, an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, died Thursday in the Hines Veterans Affairs Hospital in Maywood. Mr. Jones was a resident of Chicago and lived in the Morgan Park neighborhood. Survivors include a son, Emil; two brothers, Emil Jr., the state Senate Democratic leader, and Maurice; and four sisters, Mary Freeman, Marilla Peppers, Therisa Walker and Elsa Nelson. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday in Williams Chapel, 11053 S. Vincennes Ave., Chicago, and from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, 1401 W. 112th St., Chicago. A mass will follow immediately in the church.
