Marion E. Atchison, 86, former longtime manager of Smithfield Bakery in Oak Park, died Thursday in Meadowbrook Manor in Naperville. Mrs. Atchison, a longtime resident of Elk Grove Village, spent most of her time enjoying her family. A Chicago native, she is survived by four sons, John, Alan, Robert and Thomas; four daughters, Ruth Calkins, Marilyn Chesney, Katherine Frank and Marjorie McCullough; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Services were Saturday.
