Veronica Connelly, of Chicago, died Friday at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. A native of Minnesota, Mrs. Connelly had made her home in the Chicago area since 1960, according to her daughter, Colette Connelly-Kozlowski. She sold residential real estate in the northwest suburbs during the 1970s, her daughter said. “Her knack was with people; she only did referral and repeat business because she was kept busy by former clients” who appreciated her approach to business, Connelly-Kozlowski said. Mrs. Connelly did volunteer work at St. Joseph’s Hospital and for nuns known as the Society of Helpers. Other survivors include a daughter, Mary Jo Connelly; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon Tuesday in the Society of Helpers Convent, 309 W. Barry Ave. Mass will be said at noon.
