Thomas A. Kauth, 85, of Lombard, a former supervisor at Western Electric, died Saturday in Good Samaritan Hospital, Downers Grove. Born in Chicago, he had been retired for many years. Survivors include two daughters, Karyl Benes and Janet Caprio; a sister; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will begin Wednesday with a 9:30 a.m. prayer service in Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Rd., , Lombard, and continue with a 10 a.m. mass in St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1025 E. Madison St., Lombard.
