Ralph J. Signer, 88, a former research chemist, died Sunday at his Villa Park home. Born in Chicago and a graduate of the University of Chicago, Mr. Signer belonged to several professional societies, including the American Chemical Society. Survivors include his wife, Aileen; a son, Earl; a daughter, Marilyn Brenner; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday in Brust Villa Park Funeral Home, 305 S. Princeton Ave., Villa Park.
