Thomas J. Neiweem, 77, a retired insurance broker and former custodian for Sts. Faith, Hope and Charity Church in Winnetka, died Aug. 28 in Pike’s Peak Hospice in Colorado Springs, Colo. Mr. Neiweem earned a Bronze Star after serving in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a longtime Winnetka resident before he moved to Colorado 15 years ago. Survivors include his wife, Helen; a stepson, Timothy O’Connell; and three brothers, George, Ralph and Jack. A funeral mass was said Wednesday.
