A day of steeplechase horse racing is expected to bring 20,000 spectators Saturday to St. James Farm in Warrenville.

Steeplechasing combines horse racing and jumping on a 3.25-mile course. Saturday’s events, which run from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., benefit the Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital and Clinics in Wheaton.

Also planned are a juried art show, a classic car exhibit, music, merchant booths and other attractions.

Advance tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Tickets at the gate are $12 for adults, $6 for children. For tickets or additional information, call 630-46-CHASE.
